In an industry heavily reliant on petrochemicals and water-intensive production, sustainability poses significant challenges. At General Paints Group, we are committed to genuine environmental stewardship by confronting these challenges head-on. We protect our reputation by avoiding false claims and instead focus on addressing issues at their core, making the tough changes needed to drive meaningful, positive impact on the world around us. Our approach includes reforming production processes through methods that enable wastewater reuse, ensuring that wastewater produced in manufacturing is repurposed. We are actively working with suppliers to improve our carbon footprint by sourcing innovative, bio-based, or recycled raw materials. Additionally, we are trying to meet international standards such as ISO14001 to adopt best practices within our industry. By implementing these concrete actions, we aim to lead by example in our industry, fostering a more sustainable future for the planet.
