Create Your Own Personal Paint Pour - Colourtrend Paints

At Colourtrend, quality is as the forefront of everything we do. From the very beginning, quality has been at our core and is one of the key reasons customers and painters are fans of our brand. That’s why we are delighted to have launched our “A world of quality in every colour” campaign. When it comes to paint, the results depend on where you start – and if you start your journey with quality paint, you can be guaranteed vibrant colour with long lasting results.

We are also excited to showcase our brand new TV advert, shown below, that is an abstract representation of how our paint is made. This details the paint making process shows the quality and vibrancy of materials that make up our fabulous Juniper Whorl

Colourtrend Personal Paint Pour Kits

We always look for new ways to bring colour into your home. So, we are really excited to announce our Colourtrend Personal Paint Pour Kits.

What is a Paint Pour?

Paint Pouring has become increasingly popular. It’s a fun, relaxing activity that you can do alone or with family and friends. Paint Pouring is a painting technique that allows you to create your own artwork by pouring paint onto a surface to create an abstract design.

What is in a Colourtrend Personal Paint Pour Kit?

We have created a kit that will allow you to create your own unique art at home. Choose from our three beautiful colour schemes and get creative! You can purchase your own paint pour kit here.

In each kit you will receive:

  • Colourtrend Paints 100ml Pots x 4
  • Colourtrend Paint Brush
  • Canvas
  • Pouring Medium
  • Silicone Oil
  • Craft Sticks
  • Paper cups
  • Pair of Gloves
  • Paint Pouring Guide

We advise you to cover the area you are using with a sheet or drip cloth and place your canvas flat on a rack above a drip tray/box to catch any excess paint.

How do I Paint Pour?

There are infinite ways to create your own paint pour art. In our kit we focus on two methods that are suitable for everyone. We encourage you to get creative and think outside the box to create a paint pour that is unique and personal to you!

The Clean Pour

Pour one colour at a time onto your canvas, then manipulate/move/swirl/rotate your canvas so all the colours start to run into and alongside each other.  Don’t forget the sides of the canvas too!

The Flip Cup Pour

Pour all your mixed paints into a clean cup, one at a time. Then place you canvas over the cup and flip over, while holding the cup. Once your canvas is back in place, pull the cup up off the canvas and watch the paint flow. You can leave it to flow on its own or you can manipulate the canvas.

How long will my canvas take to dry?

We suggest leaving your canvas to dry in a safe place for about 2 days. Make sure to leave your canvas in a drip tray to catch any excess paint.

Where do I get my very own Colourtrend Personal Paint Pour Kit?

You can order your kit form our website here and we aim to deliver within 1-3 working days, during busier periods this may take slightly longer.
